Asia’s leading HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair is welcoming its 33rd edition in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20-23 April 2018. More than 2,200 global exhibitors are expected to come and showcase a wide range of high-quality household items to buyers from around the globe. In 2017, the fair has attracted more than 29,000 buyers from 111 countries and regions.

亚洲首屈一指的香港贸发局香港家庭用品展将於2018年4月20至23日假香港会议展览中心举行。踏入第33届,家品展预计可以吸引超过2,200名环球展商,展示丰富多样的家庭用品,定必吸引全球各地买家莅临采购。去年,展会就成功吸引来自111个国家及地区超过29,000名买家到访。

The houseware industry has always been promising. According to Statista, a leading statistics companies, the worldwide revenue in the "Furniture & Homeware" segment amounts to USD182 billion in 2018 with an expected annual growth rate of 11.8%. Huge potential can be seen in Asia, especially the Chinese mainland market. The same report shows that most revenue is generated in the Chinese mainland (over USD68 billion). The Hong Kong Houseware Fair provides an incomparable platform to explore opportunities from the fast-growing Chinese mainland market.

家品业前景向来乐观,据领先研究机构Statista的数据显示,预料2018年全球家具及家品类别收益超过1,820亿美元,每年增长率预期可达11.8%。亚洲地区,尤其是中国内地市场潜力庞大,数据显示,绝大部分收益均源自中国内地(超过680亿美元),而香港家庭用品展正好是开拓中国内地市场庞大商机的理想平台。

Sophisticatedly Arranged Product Zones

In order to create an easy-to-navigate setting and provide a superior sourcing experience, the Houseware Fair introduced the theme of “L.I.F.E” in the last edition. Different product zones are categorised into the four aspects of “L.I.F.E”, namely “Lifestyle”, “Interior”, “Feast” and “Enrich”.

The renowned Hall of Elegance highlights the highly sought-after designer collections and brands such as byzoo, Carl Schmidt Sohn, Happycall, Kai, Kool, Laica, PinJang, Thomson Pottery, TVS and Westinghouse.

Carl Schmidt Sohn is a reputable company that makes award-winning cookware. With the objective to produce convenient and functional cookware, the brand introduced a set of casseroles and pans with flexible side handles that can lock the lid when pouring and a lid handle where kitchen tools can be held.

Clipfresh, an uprising household brand from Hong Kong, developed a heat-resistant Microwave Pasta Maker. Users can cook all kinds of pasta easily with a microwave without the need for boiling water in advance.

World of Fine Decor is the ideal platform for designers to build their brands and to put their cutting-edge designs for home decoration products, furniture and artificial flowers on display.

Interior – Bringing style into your living space


“Interior” is comprised of the zones “Interior Decor”, “Festive Decor”, “Best of ASEAN”, and “Group Pavilions”. These are the zones where exquisite decorations can be found.

Furnishings with style can add colour to a living place. K Long Industry Company from Taiwan is presenting their patented Honeycomb Assembly Shelf that is made of high impact polystyrene (HIPS). The shelf can be flexibly assembled into different forms in accordance with the users’ preferences.

特色饰品可为居所增添姿彩。来自台湾的国隆实业社将展出他们的专利组合式蜂巢架,该产品以耐冲击聚苯乙烯制成,并可按用家喜好灵活组装。

Demand for green decorations has grown larger as urbanites are aspiring towards a green living. The Glass Terrarium from the Hong Kong company, Mplus GP Ltd, is the kind of product that infuses a splash of green into the busy urban life.

Feast – Tasting the sweetness in life

Feast features exhibitors from the zones Tableware, Wine Tools & Accessories, Kitchenware & Gadgets, Home Appliances, HORECA and Coffee Alley. A vast array of tasteful cooking and dining tools will be displayed.

Creativity is seen from the Hong Kong company, Camry Industries (HK) Limited, as they introduce the ingenious 2 in 1 Cutting Board Kitchen Scale. The tray is made of stainless steel and can be used to measure the volume of water.

佳美工业(香港)有限公司展现创意,推出二合一砧板厨房秤。量盘以不锈钢制成,可量度水的容量。

Huge Surplus International Limited, another company from Hong Kong, will be showcasing their elegant high-quality stainless steel cutlery sets that are suitable for household kitchens, hotels and restaurants.

另一家香港公司,盈大国际有限公司将推介其优雅别致的高质不锈钢餐具,无论居家自用,或是用於高级酒店及知名食府都非常体面。

Enrich – Infusing vibrancy into life

Enrich is where the World of Building & Hardware, World of Pet Supplies, Homepedia, Baby Products, Bath, Beauty & Healthcare, Home Cleaning & Laundry, Storage Solutions, Outdoor & Gardening, Furniture, Trade Services and Startup can be found.

Following its successful debut last year, the “World of Building & Hardware” is returned to bring buyers a broad selection of kitchen & bath materials, building materials and hardware & DIY Tools from top suppliers like Azure, Bosch, New Pearl Ceramic, Otto Chemie and Swiss Military.

A Series of Fringe-events to Form the Comprehensive One-stop Platform

A line-up of seminars, networking events, product demo and launch pad sessions will be arranged during the fair to facilitate business matching and networking. One of the highlights is the trend concept display at the fairground, for which HKTDC is partnering with Nelly Rodi, a well-known trend forecasting agency based in Paris, to unveil the Spring/Summer 2019 design trends on houseware and interior design elements. Meanwhile, Nelly Rodi is also organising a Trend Talk to analyse the industry development in years to come.

一系列增值活动成就多元化的一站式平台

为推动商贸配对及促使业界人士交流,大会将於展会期间举办连场研讨会丶交流活动以及产品推广及发布会。展会的另一亮点是潮流概念展示区,香港贸发局与巴黎知名趋势预测机构Nelly Rodi合作,展示林林总总的家庭用品及室内装饰品,揭示2019年春夏系列的家品及室内设计潮流。Nelly Rodi同时亦将举办趋势研讨会,剖析业界未来发展。

Concurrent Home Textiles Fair to Create Synergy

Held concurrently in the same venue, the HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair will take buyers into the blossoming world of fine textiles. The twin fairs will create synergy for more business opportunities and satisfy buyers’ sourcing needs for all kinds of household items.
